Your next move
Buying or selling?
Start with the right questions.
A buyer needs to understand what comes with the aircraft. A seller needs to know how its condition and history will stand up to a buyer’s review. AIRSEA II approaches both through the economics of ownership.
Buying a business jet
Start with the trips you actually fly: passengers, baggage, regular destinations, and the airports you use. Consider the purchase budget alongside the cost of owning and operating the aircraft.
Joe’s focus includes light and midsize jets. AIRSEA II evaluates opportunities through market pricing, aircraft condition, maintenance exposure, and the potential for improvements.
Selling your aircraft
A credible sale starts with a clear picture of what you own. Logs, inspection status, engine information, equipment, and recent work help explain your aircraft’s position in the market.
AIRSEA II considers aircraft for direct acquisition and brings owned aircraft back to market. Discuss your aircraft and timing with Joe to establish whether there is a fit.

Beyond the asking price
What will this aircraft
ask of you next?
Two aircraft of the same model can leave their next owners with very different decisions. AIRSEA II looks at the work already completed, the obligations ahead, and the capital an aircraft may need.
01
Records & history
Airframe and engine logs, repairs, modifications, and supporting documents.
Establish what has been done and what still needs verification.
02
Engines & inspections
Current times and cycles, upcoming requirements, and maintenance-program terms where applicable.
Understand the potential effect on near-term spending and downtime.
03
Equipment & condition
Avionics, installed modifications, cabin condition, and exterior finish.
Separate what works for you today from what you would need or choose to change.
04
Cost to own
Crew, training, hangar, fuel, maintenance, and insurance.
Keep the acquisition price in the context of an ongoing ownership budget.
AOPA’s aircraft-purchase guidance explains why condition, records, and modification paperwork belong in the review.
Before you commit
Give the prebuy
a job to do.
A pre-purchase inspection should answer questions about the specific aircraft. Agree on the scope, who will perform the work, and how findings will be handled before the inspection begins.
01
Set the scope.
Use a qualified inspection provider familiar with the aircraft type. Review the records as well as the physical aircraft.
02
Understand the findings.
Identify needed repairs, approaching maintenance, and optional improvements. Each can affect the decision differently.
03
Agree on what follows.
Findings may change the price, repairs, timing, or decision to proceed. The purchase agreement governs the parties’ obligations.
Condition. Capability. Presentation.
Invest where it matters
An improvement needs
a reason behind it.
For aircraft it acquires, AIRSEA II evaluates where further investment can improve condition, capability, or marketability. That may mean maintenance, avionics, engine-related work, inspections, an interior, or paint.
The decision starts with the aircraft and its likely next buyer. What does the work cost? How much time will it take? What problem does it solve? Spending more makes sense only when the improvement supports the plan.
“The lowest-priced aircraft is not necessarily the best investment, just as the highest-priced aircraft is not necessarily the best aircraft.”
